2021 is here! Finally, right? 2020 was a really weird year with Covid-19 essentially shutting down the world. It was even worse to see disc golf getting cancelled! But as we move into 2021, there’s still some light at the end of the tunnel: professional disc golf is going strong again, disc golf stores are finally getting restocked, and more new stuff is coming out monthly.
But I’m excited for this year. Things are looking up and disc golf is growing every day. And the bags on this list only highlight that. I’ve got a couple of great new bags on the list this year and a few bags that have been tried and tested. So let’s get to it!
3 reasons why you need a good disc golf bag in 2021
1. Helps you carry more in a practical manner: whether it’s discs or gear, the awesome disc golf bags on this list will help you organize everything in a way that will help you find exactly what you need when you need it.
2. They’re inexpensive: aside from a few really amazing bags on the market (like #6 below), about 90% of all disc golf bags are under $100 dollars. And the majority of those are under $50 dollars. That’s pretty awesome for something that will potentially help you carry your discs for years.
If you’re on a budget, a couple of the bags on this list should be in your price range. Or you can check out our post on, “The 13 Best Disc Golf Bags Under $50 (Ranked by Price!).”
3. Quality: on top of how ridiculously inexpensive these bags are, the quality of almost all of them is top notch. I mean, my Trooper bag has lasted for years with no tears or breaks. For the money, you’re getting a fantastic deal with any of the bags on this list.
The 7 Best Disc Golf Bags in 2021
Our #1 Pick – Infinite Discs Slinger Bag
The Infinite Discs Slinger Bag has been a really great addition to my personal disc golf game. It’s got just enough room to fit about 10-12 discs snug plus a water bottle pocket, extra outside zipper pocket for stuff, an outside putter pocket, 2 inside putter pockets, and it just looks really good. This is one of the most quality bags that you can get for your money (at around $20-25 dollars).
So far, I’ve used the Slinger Bag through a bunch of rounds and have been very pleased with it. I’ve definitely put it through the ringer. It’s just a quality disc golf bag that Infinite Discs has done a great job with. If you think this is the bag for you, grab one here on InfiniteDiscs.com.

2. Infinite Discs Huck Pack
This bag is brand new as of the end of 2020 and is sure to be a favorite. Infinite Discs has once again brought an inexpensive quality bag to the table (for only $40 bucks) and it was definitely getting added to this best of 2021 list. It’s very similar to the Dynamic Discs Trooper Bag, MVP Shuttle Bag, and Innova Adventute Pack with a comparable price as well. So I know they wanted to compete with those other backpack bags. Don’t worry, though, because I’m sure this bag will compete mightily.
Here’s what InfiniteDiscs.com has to say: “The Infinite Discs Huck Pack is a lightweight Disc Golf backpack which will work comfortably for players both new and experienced. It features padding on the back and adjustable straps for comfortable wear on the course. Plus it includes extra features like two water bottle holders, a putter compartment for easy disc access, a mini-marker pocket, an accessories pouch, a zippered side pocket for things like your car keys or scoring pencil, and an easy carry handle on top. This backpack is versatile and affordable, providing top performance for a low price.”

3. Discraft Weekender Bag
The Weekender is a phenominal quick bag and has been one of the most reliable disc carriers for golfers of all skill levels. It’s very inexpensive at around $15-20 dollars and can fit about 8 discs max into it. You don’t really need more discs than that so the Weekender could be a great addition to your disc golf arsenal. Grab one here on Amazon.
4. Kestrel Disc Golf Bag
The Kestrel Disc Golf Bag is an awesome little satchel bag that is perfect for just about any level of player in 2021. Beginners will find that it holds the limited number of discs that you probably have, around 8-10, until you want to move up into something bigger that holds more. More advanced players will find exactly the right amount of space for a few gear items or snacks, a water bottle, and a consolidated number of discs/condensed bag. And the best part? You get a quality bag for around $25-30 dollars. You can get one here on Amazon.
5. Disc Living Disc Golf Bag
The Disc Living Disc Golf Bag is for the disc golfer who wants to add just a little bit of style to their game. This bag is more of a modern disc satchel for casual play and quick rounds and less of an actual competitive gear bag. But who’s to say? I’ve never really been a huge fan of this kind of bag but it’s a well made bag owned by a ton of disc golfers. So it’s very popular amongst players. If you’re looking for something trendy and functional, you can get the Disc Living Bag here on Amazon for around $30-35 dollars.here on Amazon for around $30-35 dollars.
6. Dynamic Discs Commander Bag
The Commander is a bit expensive but could be a perfect way to amp up your game in 2021. They have 2 versions – a cooler bag (for about $20 bucks more) and a regular bag with no cooler. The regular bag will run you about $125 dollars but it has a ton of features.
First off, it’s made extremely well. The quality of materials is top notch. It can hold almost 25 discs including a putter pocket wall with a mini marker pocket. There are a bunch of storage pockets so it has a ridiculous amount of room for gear. There are also 2 pockets for storage and more pockets around the bag for gear storage. Lastly, the thing I like most about the bag is how durable and rigid the construction is. It stands up perfectly still and can give you one of the best experiences on the disc golf course. It’s one of the most well made backpack bags for the money and has been a staple for many disc golfers over the last few years. If you want a backpack bag to hold ALL your discs and gear, this bag is a great choice. Total cost is around $40-45 dollars. Grab one here on InfiniteDiscs.com.
