Welcome to the new year, everybody! Now that we’ve come into another new year, it’s time for some new discs! This year, I’ve decided to give you a list of some classic distance drivers. 1. Innova destroyer
For over 20 years, the Destroyer has consistently been the most popular distance driver every year. Why? Because it’s one of the best distance drivers of all-time, hands down. So definitely one of those discs that you should get for your bag.

2. Infinite Discs Pharaoh
The Pharaoh burst onto the disc golf distance scene out of nowhere and quickly became the favorite driver for many disc golfers (including myself). And while I’m still privy to the Dynamic Discs Sheriff, the Pharaoh is a really close second for me. As a top distance disc for any list, the Pharaoh offers insane distance if you’ve got the arm for it.

3. Discraft Zeus
The Zeus is a fantastic distance driver from Discraft. It also has a very interesting origin story: back in 2018, Discraft was tired of being stuck in Innova’s shadow. So they made a move for Paul McBeth. Paul signed a 4-year, 1-million dollar deal with Discraft, including his own personal lineup of discs. For his first disc, Paul and Discraft created the Kong – a high-speed distance driver to rival Innova’s Destroyer. After one of the most highly anticipated releases in disc golf history, people flocked to buy the prototype. After a few months, the “Kong” was changed to the “Zeus,” and the rest is history. 4. Dynamic Discs Trespass
The Trespass has been a highly-underrated disc golf distance driver up to this point. For some reason, it just hasn’t gotten a lot of hype over the years. But disc golfers have still managed to find out how great this disc is. At 12, 5, -0.5, 3, the Trespass was designed and created to rival the Destroyer, but they decided on just a little bit less turn, so the Trespass should fly more stable for you. Overall, great disc with excellent distance potential.

5. Innova Wraith
If it weren’t for the Destroyer’s reviews, hype, and decades of consistency, the Wraith might just take the #1 spot. But I moved it back just a few spots to #5 to give a few other discs a chance to be seen. In all reality, Innova has created such great distance discs over the years that they could take over just about all the spots in a top 10 distance list (i.e. the Destroyer, Wraith, Valkyrie, Tern, and a bunch of others). But the Wraith is another exceptional disc and could easily be your go-to distance driver.

6. Dynamic Discs Sheriff
The Sheriff has been my favorite disc golf distance driver for a long time now. Ever since I picked it up, which I admit was much earlier than I should’ve, it’s flown really well for me. So I’ve kept it as my #1 distance disc for years now. I do have some other distance discs, which include the Pharaoh, but the Sheriff ALWAYS comes through clutch in most long distance situations.

7. Streamline Trace
The Trace is a newer distance disc but definitely deserves a spot on a best distance drivers list. Why? Well, it’s fairly easy to throw, with flight ratings of 11, 5, -1, 2, and has a track record of being a very highly reviewed distance driver. Players have loved the Trace for over 6 years now and, yeah, I’d say it probably needs to be on one of my top drivers lists. So there’s that.
