Welcome to 2024, everybody! 2023 was a hard fought year. But this year is gonna’ be our best year yet. With that being said, we need some new discs to help us battle out on the course. So I’ve brought you some classics. Putters that have stood the test of time and those that will undoubtedly help you improve your disc golf putting game this year. Here’s that list. Here are the 7 best disc golf putters of 2024.
The 7 Best Disc Golf Putters of 2024!
1. Gateway Wizard
The Wizard is, by far, the most underrated disc golf putter in all of disc golf. It’s been a classic for years and has provided players with nothing less than complete reliability and trust. With flight ratings of 2, 3, 0, 2, the Wizard’s chain-grabbing ability is insane. It’s no wonder that players love this disc. But it just doesn’t get the hype that other discs get. Maybe it’s because of the brand. Maybe people take it for granted. Who knows?! All I know is that this is a great disc golf putter. The funny thing is, I hadn’t tried this disc until not too long ago. But once I did, it immediately went in my bag (yes, I bag too many putters).
If you need a great putter, check the Wizard out here on InfiniteDiscs.com.
2. Discraft Zone
The Zone is another one of those super underrated discs that just about everyone loves when they play with it. It’s fairly overstable, with flight ratings of 4, 3, 0, 3, but isn’t very hard to throw. Because of that, the Zone is a VERY highly-rated disc golf putter. On InfiniteDiscs.com, the Zone has almost 400 reviews – which are mostly positive – and a 4.89 out of 5 star rating (which is exceptionally high). So this disc could easily be #1 on just about any “best discs” or “best disc golf putters” list.
So if you want a really great overstable putter, grab a Zone here on InfiniteDiscs.com.
3. Axiom Envy
The Envy is probably the most infamous disc in disc golf. I say that because this disc helped James Conrad sink one of the craziest shots ever – The Holy Shot. If you haven’t seen James’ epic comeback at the 2021 Pro Worlds, you’ve gotta’ check it out! That shot tied him with the leader – Paul McBeth – and set James up to win his first ever World Championship title. If you’ve never seen that shot, check it out here or in the link above.
As for putting, this disc can really do it all. I regularly pull it out for everything I’m doing – putting, approaching, and short drives. Because it just flies REALLY well and can help you big time in a bunch of different ways.
If that’s what you want, grab an Envy here on InfiniteDiscs.com.
4. Dynamic Discs Judge
The Judge has been my all-time favorite putter ever since I started playing disc golf. It’s an overall great disc that flies well and putts even better. For me personally, I don’t really use the Judge for short drives and approaches, as the Judge is primarily a putter in my bag. But whatever you use it for, I’m sure you’ll love it. Because this is a fantastic disc.
If you’d like to try out the Judge, grab one here on InfiniteDiscs.com.
5. Infinite Discs Tomb
When Infinite came out with their own lineup of discs a few years back, I was so pumped to check all of their discs out. The Tomb stood out to me almost immediately and has stayed with me ever since. These days, I regularly putt with my Judge, my Tomb, and my Envy, depending on how I’m felling that day. With flight ratings of 3, 4, 0, 1, the Tomb can do just about anything you want from short distances – whether that’s putting, approaching, or short drives. It’s simply a well-designed and hugely popular putter that looks good, feels good, and can perform at a professional level on the disc golf course.
If that’s what you’re looking for, grab a Tomb here on InfiniteDiscs.com.
6. Latitude 64 Pure
This disc is so pure. No, really, it’s the Latitude 64 Pure and it’s a really awesome beginner disc golf putter. Pure is a great name, though, for this disc because it flies so incredibly straight and pure (flight ratings of 3, 3, -1, 1). But just about anyone can benefit from this disc as it’s highly versatile and will hold your lines on the disc golf course.
If you want something super easy and fun to putt with, grab a Pure here on InfiniteDiscs.com.
7. MVP Glitch
As of the end of 2023, the Glitch was the best selling putter on InfiniteDiscs.com. According to this post here on Infinite’s blog, it accounted for over 7.4% of all sales for the year! It’s been an insanely popular disc. So why not put it on this best discs list? Yep, I might as well.
The Glitch, with flight ratings of 1, 7, 0, 0, is a really interesting disc flight-wise. Very easy to throw, almost no turn or fade, and a ridiculous amount of glide (7 glide)! All of that amounts to a dead-straight putter that holds almost any line you put it on. For putting, it does its job: it goes into the basket…every time you need it to. Some disc golfers might even say the Glitch is like a cheat code for your putting game.
If you’d like to try out the Glitch, grab one here on InfiniteDiscs.com.
