It’s honestly hard to believe that it’s already the new year. Crazy, but we’re here.
And with a new year, comes a whole new set of rounds out on the disc golf course!
You know what that means…new discs, new gear, and possibly a new bag! So if you’re looking to upgrade that old backpack bag, or that tiny sling bag that you’ve stuffed full of plastic, we’re here to help.
Through the rest of this post, you’ll see 10 of the most popular disc golf bags in the game. There’s our top pick, 9 more awesome bags after that, and even more options at the end (if you haven’t quite made up your mind yet)!
So let’s check ‘em out!
The 10 Best Disc Golf Bags for 2026
My #1 Pick – Dynamic Discs Trooper Bag
If you’re looking for the best overall disc golf bag for quality, size, and price, this is it.
Dynamic Discs has been perfecting the Trooper Bag for a long time now. It’s had many iterations, patterns, and styling changes, but it’s remained mostly the same for years. Why? Because it’s a fantastic disc golf bag.
When I first started, I only had a few discs and I played with a backpack string bag (which isn’t even a disc golf bag). When I finally got my hands on this bag, it changed everything. It went from a weird sport that I knew very little about, to a full-fledged hobby.
The Trooper Bag changed the game for me. Discs were easier to carry and way more accessible. Plus, the bag holds quite a few discs, so naturally I bought more plastic 🤣
So if you’re in need of a great all-around disc golf bag for around $40 bucks, this is it.

2. Infinite Discs Slinger Bag
Another bag that I really like is the Infinite Discs Slinger Bag. A simple crossbody bag, that can hold about 10 discs comfortably and also features quite a few pockets for gear and accessories. Not the most quality bag you’ll buy, but it will last you a couple of years and quite a few rounds, all for less than $25 bucks. That’s a win in my book.

3. Dynamic Discs Combat Ranger Bag
If you are looking for a truly dynamic disc golf bag, this is it…literally.
On a more serious note, there is no better backpack bag in disc golf. This bag is awesome. It’s comparable to the DD Commander, but with much better material, making this bag just a bit better overall. In the upper price range, this is the best bag for your money.
Now you will be paying for it, with prices running well over $150+ dollars on sale, $175+ plus when not on sale. But for a great bag, with a ton of storage and space, that’s not bad at all. Most would say that’s a steal of a disc golf deal.
Grab one for yourself here on InfiniteDiscs.com.
4. Star Frame Beast Cooler Bag
Love the Beast bag. Star Frame sent me this as the third addition to their lineup, I believe. Been a few years since its release and the bag has held up nicely. With me having a few other bags, I’ve only used it heavily through a few rounds. However, it has held up nicely and still looks brand new every time I do take it out.
My favorite part about it? It has a freakin’ awesome grey jungle leaf camo design AND it’s a cooler bag that can hold about 3-4 canned drinks (plus drink holders for more on top). Super cool, fun disc golf bag, all for less than $120 bucks!

5. Innova Adventure Pack Disc Golf Bag
If you’re looking for a decent quality backpack bag for under $50 bucks, and you don’t want the Dynamic Discs Trooper, check out the Innova Adventure Pack bag.
Very similar to the Trooper, with tons of space for discs and quite a few pockets for gear. It’s also fairly lightweight, with a side pocket for a large drink. Great bag overall.

6. Discraft Weekender Disc Golf Bag
The weekender bag is a really great small bag for the money. Even with inflation over time, Discraft has kept this bag pretty cheap, usually less than $20 bucks overall including shipping. So it’s pretty comparable to the Infinite Slinger Bag pricewise. Overall, though, for its small size and cheap price, it’s pretty durable and can hold about 6-8 discs comfortably. Not a bad choice at all.
If you’d like a Weekender Bag, grab one here on Amazon.
Your Choice for #7 – Star Frame Bandido Cooler Bag -or- Star Frame Brick 3.0 Cooler Bag
So for #7, I’ve decided to give you a choice between either the Star Frame Bandido Bag and the Star Frame Brick Bag. Both bags, brought to you by Star Frame Bags, are excellent options for disc golfing with the boys. Why? Because both can help you carry an insane amount of discs AND a decent amount of drinks in the built in cooler sections!
If you want more overall DRINK storage, the BRICK 3.0 is for you. Less features, but cheaper price. Usually coming in around $110 bucks. Grab a Brick 3.0 here on Starframebags.com.
Check out a review of the Brick here.
If you want more overall DISC storage, the BANDIDO is for you. It may cost more, but you get more features. This bag will run you about $150 bucks. Grab a Bandido here on Starframebags.com.

No matter the choice, you’re getting a freakin’ awesome disc golf cooler bag.
8. Himal Disc Golf Bag
The Himal Disc Golf backpack bag is a decent quality, good-sized backpack bag for players that want a backpack bag under $30 bucks. With space for 15+ discs, tons of pockets for accessories, awesome color choices, and a water bottle pocket, that’s a great deal.
You can get one here on Amazon.
9. Rogue Iron Disc Golf Satchel Bag
This minimalist satchel bag is loved by thousands of disc golfers. It features space for 12-14 discs, a carrying strap, and pocket for your water bottle. Simple and efficient. As we all know, sometimes less is more. Oh, and the price? About $30 bucks! Perfect for those that don’t want a huge bag or a huge cost to carry their discs.
If that’s you, grab a Rogue Iron bag here on Amazon.
10. Prodigy BP-3 V3 Disc Golf Bag
If you’re looking for something in about the $50 dollar price range, look no further than the Prodigy BP-3. An excellent backpack bag, in a variety of great colors, great disc storage, tons of pockets for your gear, a front putter pocket (which is always nice to have), and pockets for multiple water bottles.
If you want something a little bit bigger than a Trooper bag, in a similar-ish price range, the BP-3 is that bag.
Grab one here on Amazon.
Overall
This list has some of the absolute best discs in disc golf. So, if you don’t have a high-quality bag, now’s your chance to grab a good one. That way, you’ll not only be able to up your disc storage, but your disc golf game, too!
